Stone Sculpture

In the artistic-technical workshop for Stone Sculpture, students are taught manual and machine techniques of stone processing. The curriculum also includes the production of concrete casts in different negative forms. After attending the one-semester introduction "From Rough Block to Cube," students work independently on their sculptural projects.

The acquisition of stone sculptural skills is closely linked to artistic knowledge. The idea and content-related questions play a crucial role in the implementation of the sculptural work. The growing experience in technical execution enables students to locate and further develop their artistic goals.

In addition to individual supervision, possible ways for each project are discussed together in exchange with the students, the teachers of the other facilities, and the professors.
